Green Globe Artichoke

The Green Globe artichoke is a perennial heirloom variety with silvery-green leaves. These plants require a long growing season; ready at 150 to 180 days
. Each plant can produce up to fifteen buds per year. When started indoors, they can be grown in colder climates, and moved outside after any risk of frost. These are edible buds that you can boil in water, and then eat from the leaves to the heart of the bud.
